Shameless self congratulation

When what seems to have been an age ago I wrote this

September 20th, 2010 Betting blogger Edit

So this is the first of what I hope will be hope will be many posts and I’m all too aware that the average life of a blog is about 60 days. At that point apparently people get fed up with posting and the regularity of the posts becomes less frequent.

I never thought I would still be posting 2 and half years later. I certainly didn’t think that I would be able to take a screen print of the page view tracker that’s at the bottom of the blog ( know I know no one ever scrolls down!) that shows that over a million hits to the blog have been recorded. If these were all unique page views (or such like) then it would be time to crack open the bubbly but a fair few of these views will be bots and crawlers and the wonderful creatures who are constantly spamming the comments with great comments like this:

I used to be recommended this blog by my cousin. I am now not sure whether this post is written by way of him as no one else realize such distinctive approximately my difficulty. You are amazing! Thank you!

Why thank you kind sir the pleasure is all mine!

Anyway in all seriousness thanks to anyone who has ever read the blog or left a comment- its been apprecaited.

Right enough of that sentimental tosh back to business and was chuffed with United display on Wednesday which gives them a really good chnace of progressing although I cant help but have a nagging feeling that United might still live to regret not taking one of the great chances  that RVP had in the last 15 minutes.

Its also very early days yet but this weekends golf betting may turn out to be ok as the players highlighted are the ones that Ive backed with Mr Da Silva a nice 66/1 . A six shot lead  is easy  to throw away over two rounds so not counting any chickens there but fingers crossed! Lastly for all those people forever moaning about Betfair then worth a dabble on the rival exchange that claims to be second in the market in terms of  liquidity Matchbook They are also offering a free £20 bet.
