Critical test (Of nerve?)

Ouch indeed!! There’s no way of dressing up in a positive the news that the Champion Jockey has decided to get his own back on me  by winning 4 out of his last 5 rides that Ive laid. The post here showed AP with a bloodied nose and it’s now me who has been left reeling. Well I say “left reeling” but perhaps I need a sense of perspective here . The fact is that those winners have halved the profit I made in the first couple of weeks of the project – that’s halved the profit (thought i would repeat it so i don’t forget). Three Lions Captain Steven Gerrard has […]

If more players were sent off for CHEATING (not simulation or “going down a bit easily”) […]

Ajax v Manchester City Preview

A guest contruibution from Thomas Rooney as he previews Tuesday nights big game…. Ajax v Manchester City Preview A huge Champions League game takes place on Wednesday evening as Manchester City travel to Amsterdam to take on Ajax. City have just one point from their two matches in the tournament so far, whereas Ajax have been defeated twice. Whichever side can come out on top at the Amsterdam Arena will close the gap on the top two teams in the group and put themselves in a strong position to reach the knockout stages. As for the loser – they will certainly have it all to do. Looking at City to […]
