So the Euros are over and  personally thought it was a great tournament- Im delighted to have another guest post from Ian Hutchison at TVbet with his own summary  of the tournament. ——————– Spain triumphed last night in emphatic fashion, beating Italy 4-0 to create history as the first team to win a back to back treble of major tournaments as well as being responsible for the highest scoring European Championships ever. The losing run continues….

At just before 7.45 on Sunday evening I  sat down with my 11 year old football mad nephew and broke him the bad news. “What happens next is that England will hang on bravely before crashing out on penalties. This will happen  every two or four years for the rest of your life”. He asked me  why I thought that .
